Alloy 20 Weld Neck Flanges are composed primarily of approximately 20% nickel and 20% chromium, with the addition of molybdenum and copper to enhance resistance to sulfuric acid and other aggressive chemicals. Iron makes up the balance, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. This alloy delivers good tensile and yield strength, excellent resistance to creep and stress rupture, and strong impact toughness at low temperatures.
