Alloy 20 Spectacle Blind Flanges are comprised primarily of nickel (32–38%), chromium (19–21%), iron (balance), with copper (3–4%), molybdenum (2–3%), and minute amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. This unique composition offers excellent resistance to sulfuric acid and chloride stress corrosion. Mechanically, Alloy 20 possesses tensile strength of approximately 80 ksi (550 MPa), yield strength of 35 ksi (240 MPa), and elongation of approximately 30%. These features make Alloy 20 Spectacle Blind Flanges ideal for extreme service in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and seawater.
